Foam for Care wheelchair cushions are designed to improve the comfort and pressure distribution for patients who are seated for long periods of time. The cushion range addresses patients' needs from low to high risk categories. A combination of various materials, such as different foam grades and gels, are used in multi-layer constructions. Appropriate profiles encourage conformation to patient shape and therefore lower the interface pressure. The product range is suitable for use in wheelchairs and day care chairs, promoting mobility and positioning. All cushions are provided with a polyurethane coated, two-way stretch, vapour permeable cover which is welded to prevent the ingress of fluids.
